Does anyone have any hints on how to get new Aquarium fish? I seem to keep getting the same ones over and over and very few new ones. I try starting at the lower time wait and working my way up thinking that may bring in new ones, but it doesn’t seem to work for me. And then I try choosing only 5 hr. and 20 hr. times, but still no luck. ---

every port has different fishes, so for this port you will get the same fishes over and over again ---

@Mz_E i only got ONE new fish at the last port.. you don’t get better /newer ones the longer you wait either.. its so hard to get new ones.. ;( ---

Boom Boom I am experiencing the same thing. I sometimes get the same fish on the shorter waits that I have received on the longer ones. And many times on the longer waits I get the same fish three times in a row. I see very few new fish at any location. I would be curious to know if anyone has received all of the available fishes. ---

i tried 10 times with the shortest time today.. didn’t get ONE new one.. ☹ ---

its been at least 3 or 4 weeks now. nothing! Ive been stuck at 249 and the add 12 more. maybe its because i have 159 to level up. i think it might be since i have so many to level up and im not building fish coins ---

The number of fish that can level up wouldn’t affect your ability to catch new fish. All of the fish have specific locations where they can be caught, like Ports, Sea Adventures, and at sea. Be sure to try in each location for a chance to catch new fish. ---

The 12 “new” fish species were “released” on the last day at Pirate Cove. I have extensively tried to catch any of the 12 here at Hawaii and ZIP. Nothing new. Has ANYONE caught ANY of the 12 “new” species? ---

Won’t know what the new species are until you catch them. I have caught the 1st 288 but NONE of the 12 new one’s they released at Pirate Cove on the last day at port there. I’ve fished extensively here at Hawaii and have not caught any of the new ones…so, I’m guessing they are not available here. Try again next time at sea and at the next port. ---

The new fish I got from the 20 hour waits are the Reddist Seahorse, Pirate Tuna, Japanese Spider Crab, Japanese Eel, Somebody’s Whale, Giant Manta Ray, and Chinese Trumpet Fish. I’m not sure where the Reddist Seahorse and Pirate Tuna came from (maybe Pirate’s Cove?), but seems the two fish with Japan in their names came from the Tokyo port, and the Chinese Trumpet Fish from Dalian. I listed them in the order I got them, so you can guess where the rest came from if you remember the order of the last few stops. I don’t know if what I’m doing will work for anyone else. Just passing it along because all of a sudden it started working well for me. I don’t get a new fish or even many XP for one I already own every time I choose the 20 hour wait, but overall a huge increase in new fish in a short time. I’m also getting a lot more fish with 8 or 16 XP during my shorter wait times as well as the 20 hour wait. I also just reached MS 139, so I don’t know how that may or may not play into all this. havent seen any new fish in a couple of months and i only needed a couple so frustrating here ---

Since noone has seemed to catch any of the 12 new fish yet, I would guess that either they are for somewhere we haven’t yet gone, or since they were added at the last pirate cove stop, if you remember we were really supposed to be at Atlantis and had to get switched to another stop while there because of an issue with Atlantis. I’m thinking maybe the fish were in Atlantis. ---
