# Using a Pre-Paid Card to Purchase Gems or Membership

Pre-paid cards work just like credit cards, though there is one simple step that needs to be done in order to successfully make a 7 Seas Casino purchase with one.

When using a pre-paid card, it’s essential to select the “This is a prepaid card” check box on the Payment Details form. You will find it on the Payment Details form page below **Billing Zip Code** and above **Security Code**.

**IMPORTANT** : Pre-paid cards are not able to be used for automatic renewals for VIP subscriptions as most pre-paid cards will not allow automatic payments to be taken from the account.

If the “This is a prepaid card” box is not checked, a transaction using a pre-paid card will not be able to process properly.
