The new Veteran’s Medal charm is fantastic. As a military veteran with 21 years of active duty in the US Air Force, I found the introduction of this charm to be a delightful surprise. However, I noticed it’s only rated at 3 stars. Initially, I believed the website’s support team created this charm to honor military veterans, but after speaking with a support staff member, it became clear their focus was on the charm’s financial value. Why not rate this new Veteran’s Medal charm at 5 or more stars, while still offering it at a 3-star price? In my view, this new Veteran Medal charm should be distinguished and valued above most other charms.

I so do agree with Tony, I am a Mother of Veteran and I understand every Service Man and Woman sign the ultimate check for sacrifice not limited to life there for this charm deserves the highest recognition as many didn’t return home. God Bless

I agree that we should have a high clover charm honoring military/veterans, since so many players here are from military families or veterans themselves. It’s important for us to honor them and show our support, and I’m sure many would like to do that in a big way. However, @TonyJoe, I don’t think the idea of giving this charm, or any charm, a high number of clovers while keeping the price low makes sense.
The high clover military/veterans charm should be a whole different design. Also it should be a permanent part of the available charms, since this new charm will probably only be offered for a short time around the Veteran’s Day holiday.
I think this charm is great as priced and valued, since it’s within reach to purchase by most of the players here. It’s also a really wonderful design, and I’m glad that Flowplay/7 Seas added it to the charm list. Even though their motive was financial rather than altruistic, it was a good decision as there’s so much interest here in showing support for the military and veterans. Flowplay is in business to make money so whether their hearts are in the right place or not, offering customers things they want at a good price for the value is just smart marketing.
