It has been many months since i have gotten or caught any new fish, where are they? I havent seen any new ones either and i am fishing constantly is something going on?ive tried all the bait ive tried everything, please help

@Joei i have not either. i did 5 in a row of the 1 gems one… i have tried 5 hours, 20 hours. NOTHING … not one new fish. i think ONE in 4 months… i dont get it either.

Try spending the 80 gems to hurry the bait. This is how I caught new fish.

I am so close to giving up here. I to have used power bait. a lot. and nothing since they said they issued the new species from no. 192 to 204. even sitting looking at the aquarium it shows NO new species swimmign around as it always did.

@LIGHTNING dont give up… set it for 20 hours, accept, and go on… i save up all my fish and chips. currently got 30,000 …
I have a fix!!! Choose the 10 min bait (worm) and PAY THE 1 GEM POWER BAIT TO CATCH FISH! I CAUGHT 5 NEW TYPES OF FISH USING 1 GEM PER BAIT! 
Catching new fish is pure luck!. It doesn’t matter what bait you use. The majority of fish you catch will probably be duplicates anyway. The good part about that is?. You will receive more coins from the treasure chest. While online? I basically use the 10min gummy worm bait. Duplicate fish means more coins in the treasure chest.
gr8 suggestion. will give that a go. been ages for me as well- with no new fish. but have noticed in past - oncei get one new one - a few more will follow in short order…

@LIGHTNING I have not caught ANY new fish in weeks… i gave up, i set it for 20 hours and then do it again… i tried the other day, 10 in arow, (10 gems used) and got all old fish…
have not caught anything new in months set fo all times and used gems, almost ready to give up
hi MrWinky. Were you fishing for the latest series, 192-203? Up until this new issue, power bait worked. It does NOT for the latest series, which they said they issued.
Try using lower cost bait! worm 10min/ Marshmallow 60min/ doughnut 5hrs. I have caught 14 new fish! (I’m only at 100 - 203 though. 
I have already experienced all of that.

I’ve tried all of what you suggest plus more.
I am beyond frustrated with fishing and so close to giving up completely.
