This Special Event Fringo for St. Patrick’s Day is a very difficult one to complete. With both the Magnet and Bandit point are taken away constantly and trying to get a completed board is next to impossible. I go along well in the beginning of the game and then all I get are duplicates of what I have already daubed. Have been trying for 3 days to get my final completed board and get nowhere. Not a fun event this time at all this time.

@Jonette Make sure you have enough power ups.. its IMPOSSIBLE to complete without them! AND make sure you purchase them on the lower level islands.. if you buy on the higher ones, lets say you buy 100, then you get random ones.. BUT , if you buy on the 1st and 2nd island, you only get the daub a fruit, on the lowest island and daub a fruit and fruit family if you purchase at the 2nd island. which is what you need the most to win.. you can even purchase on the islands where you want more specific power ups. 
(i also play when less people are on, late at night, or early in the am.. )

Boom Boom I have been using power ups all of this time. I don’t play Fringo if I don’t have any. Unfortunately I have exhausted all of my gems and cannot afford to buy any more. That is why I am so frustrated. I have to fill 1 more board to complete the event and I’m having a difficult time getting a full board and I don’t see many people doing it either.

i got them done.. but i have over 2,000 power ups.. its my favorite game.. dont forget to go and collect your 5 you get every day for free. Also look at the other islands. i have completed almost EACH islands own challenges, (i have 2 left, but need 20 players to accomplish..) once you complete each island , you get more power ups too.
