Is becoming a member the only way to receive VIP status?
VIP membership can only be received from purchasing it, or a friend can gift you one month of the VIP membership.

@Blaqueberi its very well worth it you get the pet of the month, high end charms, mystery boxes, sometimes with gems in them, party passes, avatar tokens, and gems as prizes… then every month at the beginning, when you collect your end of the month prizes, you get gems for the amount of months you are VIP. i stopped for 2 months 2 aprils ago, and now instead of having 30 months of VIP i have 15, and my gem prize is 350… lol dummy me …
