When opening balloon boxes & chests and reeling in fish; the bird flying across, school of fish, dolphins, whale and floating bottle all “react” when tapped. So, has it been considered that they might offer a prize or reward when prompted? It would not have to be daily, maybe at the beginning of the month or for special events, such as arriving in a new port or in between ports. Players would not have to be aware of where to find these gifts, whereas being a surprise when they pop up. Also, I have noticed mention by others of anniversaries and/or birthdays being celebrated, I agree something special for the individual would probably be enjoyed by many. Maybe better gifts on milestones besides just days logging in. Forgot the shark, probably the least favorable in real life!

well, i havent gotten much of anything. I got one new fish i think on this island.. and its not like i can wade in the water with them.. NOW that would be a great photo.. haha
